South Florida Dentistry for Children takes pride in our local community.
We are always happy to donate items for your school or charity function. All we need is two weeks notice and a receipt from your organization. We also believe in giving back to our community by supporting local sports teams, area schools, churches, synagogues, and area organizations. Some of the organizations we have worked with are:
Relay for Life, Coral Springs Panthers, Parkland Soccer, GBYSA, Spirit of Giving Network, Cardinal Gibbons High School, Coral Springs Academy of Dance, Westminster Academy, Panda Parents, Inc., SOS Children's Villages, Florida Singing Sons Boychoir, Gold Coast Youth Orchestra, Parkland Flag Football, Coconut Creek Hawks Baseball, High 5 Basketball, Dynast Basketball, South Florida Stingrays, Coral Springs Renegades Soccer, South Florida Crush, Coral Springs Lacrosse League, Camp Jenny, Camp Boggy Creek, Park Vista High School Lacrosse, Coral Glades High School Volleyball, Boca Raton High School Football, Spanish River High School Cross Country, YMCA of Parkland, and many more.
As a community service, we have a preschool and elementary school program, where we will come to your school for a presentation. We pride ourselves in having a fun and interactive program for children, which includes information on going to the dentist, toothbrushing and flossing, healthy snacks and drinks, and dental safety. All students receive a goody bag at the end of the presentation. If you are interested in hearing more about this free program for your students, contact Susan Daly, RDH at 954-752-7651x220 or email susandalyprofessionalrelations@sfldco.com. In additon we are able to participate in career day at your school.
We also visit Mommy and Me groups. Our talk focuses on development of the teeth, oral care for infants and todddlers, nutritional guidance, and safety. This is a fun and informative session for Moms (and Dad's too!). Information will be given on when to start dental care, feeding habits, sippy cup use, good snacks vs bad snacks. Contact Susan Daly to schedule a talk.
If your Daisy or Brownie troop is interested in an office tour or a presentation at one of your meetings. We are happy to accomodate you. We also invite small preschool groups of 10 children or less to visit our office for a fun, informative tour.
